Wave at Sandymount Yesterday

Well the 'dying north easterly' was more of a cranking, strong ass north-east-easterly. A bit gusty up to 25kts and grunty thermals up to 2000ft coming in cycles. Some exciting air but if you stuck with it and glided out at 16ooft, the reward was lovely; Silky smooth wave to over 3000ft and sunshine. No one was more keen than Phil who took off in his sonic in such wind and thermalled up to 2k, nice fucus Phil
